  1. I tried the team, first battle, typlosion, almost solo'd the entire team. Second battle, normal ninetails, almost solo'd the entire team, third battle, shadow talonflame, almost solo'd the entire team…crazy how i barely run into fire mons except when i use a double weak to fire backline lol

  2. I tried it out and it's still evolving with the elite move even right now. I imagine it will be fixed soon.

  3. Small correction, debuffing attack by 1 stage is a 20% reduction, not 25%.

Copying from reddit post titled How strong are buffs/ debuffs to stats in Pokémon go pvp?

    You start doing 4/4 damage = 100%.

Each stage of boost (To either ATK or DEF) increases the first number – so 5/4, 6/4, 7/4, 8/4. (125%, 150%, 175%, 200%). So you can max out your attack or defense at double your starting point.

Each negative stage is increasing the second number – 4/5, 4/6, 4/7, 4/8 (80%, 66%, 57%, 50%). So you can minimize your attack or defense at half the original.

The + and – stack, so two power up punches and an icy wind mean you're at '+1' and doing 5/4 damage.

    These numbers are symmetrical, so a 1 stage boost to ATK (5/4) is equivalent to a -1 stage DEF (4/5), or a 3 stage either way = 1.75 * .57 = 1

You can't go above +4 or -4, but you can in theory swing back and forth by +1/-1 multiple times if you're power up punching a bubble beamer or something.
