I always thought these were classed as holofoil cards but the Collectr app only gives me the option of normal or reverse holofoil.
Can anyone clear up my confusion? Holo, normal or reverse holofoil???

Yeah it’s a reverse. For some Gen 3 sets (and only Gen 3 sets) the reverse holo patterns are like this one. They’re stamped with the set’s name and have the holo material only on the art, instead of the entire card being shiny.
Due to this, these cards are fairly sought after compared to reverses in other sets since Pokemon has never done this since. And the cards actually look like regular holofoils, hence you being confused. You got a good one too! Seems this goes for about $25-$30, which is way more than 99% of other reverses on the market right now.

It’s amazing that after 20 years, they still haven’t figured out how to make reverse holos better than these.
