Surprised I haven't seen anyone talking about this yet, so I will. Yesterday Pokémon announced for the 30th year anniversary they will be celebrating with 2 events all year long, "Day Out" and "Night Out". According to Serebii, "Pokémon Day Out events are family friendly activities while Pokémon Night Out events wil have fun surprises for longtime Pokémon fans." Which leads to the questions, why is Day Out specifically called out to be Family Friendly and Night Out called out to be for longtime fans? I'm curious what everyone thinks of this, and what everyone is hoping for with both events. For Day Out I would love to see a new movie announced and for Night Out anything for older audiences would be amazing, even if it's still something consider PG-13.
