I’m actually looking forward to it. Seems closer to a farm sim than Animal Crossing, which I bounced off of (heh… after 300 hours; maybe “never revisited” is better) because of a lack of story.

The second Ralph mentioned it was developed by the DQB2 team the penny dropped for me. That game is enormously underrated, and this just look like it’s more of that. I went from not caring about this game in the slightest to it being one of my most anticipated games of the year.

Day 1 purchase for me.
My last purchase was Donkey Kong Bananza so paying $70 every 3-4 months for a game is a good deal and if it can bring me 10-20 hours of gameplay even better!

Definitely peaked my interest. I enjoy Animal Crossing but hate how cumbersome it feels. I enjoy Pokemon but hate how dated it and formulaic it is. This game looks like it ditches the stuff I dislike and mashes together the parts I do. Will definitely be checking this out.
