Collected Pokemon cards as a kid in the 90s. Played PokemonGo as a young adult but never got back in to collecting. Thankfully saved my original base set from when I was a kid. Well now I have a 5 year old and he showed a little interest and oh boy have I dove head in. Blowing wayyy too much $$ on singles and of course any wax I can find.
Anyways, I have to have cracked 500 packs in the last couple months. Not a single SIR.
A buddy of mine has a bunch of sealed wax and sold me a Mega Charizard UPC at near MSRP and FINALLY. Miserably off centered but I don’t even care. Finally one I can call my own LOL.
It’s good to be back (I think).
