I was obsessed with full art trainers when playing competitive with my boys. Years later we moved cities and a card shop happened to be right beside my work.
I may or may not have stopped in on the way to my car…. often.
My buddy traded me the Misty's Favour back when it was just out and gave me the Welder because he knew I wanted it and he had doubles. So much trading and such in those days.
The Cynthia was my first ever trade and for my first ever full art pull, a Team Skull Grunt. I had no idea about value then, was just excited to play with my boys. Cynthia was a clutch card in a deck. She said, "I know this card is valuable but I really like that Team Skull Grunt. It's a full art for a full art."
Good people that I miss.
I need more top loaders and a new binder, obvs.
