Pokemon

My cousin knows I love Pokémon. Look what she made for me!

I'm blown away by her and feel so lucky.

My cousin is 8-years old and she loves arts and crafts. She prefers to keep to herself most of the time (likely due to being on the spectrum), so we don't interact much. We aren't allowed to see her art unless she leaves it out for us to see, but what I have seen of her art is amazing.

Today, she walked up to me while I was reading with her brother and handed this to me. I wear my obsession with Pokémon on my sleeve, though no one else in my family shares such a thing as far as I know. I am OBSESSED with this.

I have the coolest cousin ever.

If that was me, I’d spoil her rotten and protect her with my life. She would be invited to so many movie nights, sleepovers and pizza

  7. Wow, im jealous

You should scan it and save it this way too because paper will fade and you could reprint it even make stickers later on!

  8. This is so precious and adorable wtf 😭. I’m not crying, I just had a bug fly into my eye and it hit my other eye on the way out…

It feels so great when a kid surprises you with something like this. They are innocent, they have no anterior motives and are completely genuine. Receiving something like this comes with the realization that these little people could be doing anything with their time but they chose to sit down and work hard on creating something we can enjoy, just because they love us and want us to be happy.

Kids also make it clear what is sad about adulthood and the dog eat dog reality we live in, where it’s impossible to find anyone our age that behaves as genuine as them. Children are the best of humanity.
