I personally feel like the reason PSA keeps upping prices is not cause they’re greedy(which they may be), but so many people in the hobby will grade literally any ex or better, while not even pregrading themselves. PSA gets so much submissions it’s insane. The fact we’re almost in the 15 cert and last January was 10 cert says a lot. I’ve personally only graded cards that I truly believe will 10 and will lead to genuinely increase value (not all I care about but if I can guarantee a 10 why not…) and at the moment as a casual collector I’ve graded around 10 cards and only gotten one 9…
Like cmon people what’s the point of grading a card for a $40 increase in a 10 when cost of grading is 20+ a card that NO ONE wants to buy haha.
I genuinely feel like they just can’t keep up with the influx of cards.
