Fractured my two fingers and can’t play Pokemon for a couple weeks (😭) , any recommendations?

Anyone have any game recommendations that are one hand friendly for me to play for the next few weeks? I’ve been grinding Pokémon Arceus and Z-A but I’m going to lose my mind if I keep trying to use my pinky and index finger for the battle mechanics 😭 Please help I just wanna game peacefully 🫡

You can famously play all of Earthbound with one hand

As others mentioned, let’s go can be played with one hand, it’s a great game if you haven’t already played it

You can play a VN, like Ace Attorney. Or a puzzle game, like Baba is You. Or a turn-based game, like Civilizations.

  7. aw that sucks! maybe try some turn-based rpgs or visual novels since you won’t need quick reflexes? hope your fingers heal up fast so you can get back to arceus

  8. Most mainline Pokemon game, or many JRPG that isn’t action RPG or has “Active Time Battle”, are basically just moving your character in overworld and fiddling around with menus in battle. I bet you can play those games with literally one finger.

Try a messed up grip with a pro controller where you 2 broken fingere are above and your ring and pinkie finger are on shoulder buttons kinda locale grip but not. Stardew valley is an option

How are you playing pokemon? You don’t need those fingers…

  11. I am pretty sure all Pokemon aside Legends have an option for one hand play in config.

  12. Ouch, sorry, OP. Like other people here have suggested, you could try playing the Let’s Go games with just one joycon. Or maybe you’ll get used to playing with just one hand, give it a try (although I imagine it can be annoying).

Wishing you a speedy recovery! 💪🏻💪🏻

You realistically could play most Pokémon games one-handed, it might just take a while to get used to it :/

What do you mean you cant play pokemon for a couple of weeks, it’s a turn based game. Learn how to claw.

Final Fantasy, any of ’em up to X. If you haven’t played any, 6 or 7 (dont think it) are good places to start, theyre regarded as the best ones

Isn’t that the hand you only get your thing for movement control on?

If you have a pro controller you can program the 2 buttons by your ring fingers to whatever you want, so could program them to be ZL and L to give you full functionality
