The 5000 mega energy sounds agregious but as a f2p player that's forced to walk legendaries for candy xl I have more primal groudon and Mega Rayquaza energy than I know what to do with. If the bonus includes guaranteed XL candies for matching types or a chance for rare candies it might be worth it
Poke! We def had to power the ol bugs up to take on those Hoopa Elite raids(back when) and then the last round of Hoopa raids – last year or so. Yeah… I have them powered up. 😅🤣

I wonder how much it costs for a full trip to Kalos Tour. I'm spoofing there and it's already half a Nintendo Switch. $30 for ticketed event. $20 for extra day. $14 for raid lover, $20 for gayass mega night. That's $84! X2 it for 2 accounts is $168+Tax= $182. Can't imagine actually flying there, cost of hotel, food&water, and walking miles.

Have hundos for Bells and Mal, just waiting on that energy. Backgrounds are boring, pretty but as said, it's just another thing to align (shiny, hundo, and now background). I don't get background fomo.
Also, getting a bit irritated with how many people keep pushing the idea Mew2 will pay gated. Niantic doesn't care if you get a free one with bad IVs. The new system is just to complicate the lives of people that chase IVs and remote. Sheesh. The only thinf that worries me is catch rate.
I don't think they'll make it easier to raid, the recent Max raids Ho-oh and Meow seems to show they're making raids harder.

Greedier companies want to get the less I want to spend like I kind of want the backgrounds, but don't care enough to try and get a shiny of each one and I'll likely be stuck doing Mega link remote raids since nobody in my area raids other than once in a blue moon so I either have to solo them or remote raid.
After getting multiple great Go Tour events in a row, they didn't want to give us anything good this time and it is disheartening! Only good thing to go for is shiny 10km eggs. I always bought the 5-10 buck ticket for increased shinys and the masterwork research, but with already having regular Diance and getting a better rock mega with Glimmet's evolution down the road, it isn't worth it this time 🙁
They betatested this crap with Eternatus where they gave us 50XL candies per raid, but at the same time cranked up the cost of the Power Ups.
Turns out people can't do basic math, so now they're doing it again by giving 700 energy per Raid, and require 5000 Mega Energy for the real benefits they offer. And people will gobble it up. 🤡

Just caught a shiny Nidoran (male) in Pokemon Crystal.
Should be 1000 energy regardless if it's a 6* or 7* mega raid , but increase the amount of mega energy to use on the pokemon
