Where tf is my mega energy. I did 3 in person raids yet got 0 mega energy
Regarding in-person raids: After we use our free daily raid pass(es), and the raids cost link charges are we able to use premium raid passes instead of link charges?
whats a little funny is that with this new system and only malimar and victorbell starting off as a super mega raid people won't even be able to experience it for 30 days minimum since its a new mega release and nobody has a a lvl 3 max mega of those pokemon. it would have been nice to do those two new pokemon as well as maybe the kanto starters or something like that…but like nobodys gonna have a super max for 30 days lol

This sounds critical for the remote player. However, they are really upping the ante of going out and play in person. Using link charges instead of raid passes is basically adding extra in-person means of resources (it actually helps the free-to-play player). It will really depend on the benefits of lvl 3 vs lvl 4, as "greatly increases" is politician talk and could be minuscule relative to lvl 3. The only obnoxious thing sounds like you can't wait it out and do the slow marathon of free mega evolving to level up.
Luckily I don’t care. I don’t use mega anyways for raids.

This solo player says no. If mega was permanent, maybe. But, its not.
We need to collectively send a message to Niantic/Scopely.
Either we keep playing and show them that they can keep nickel and diming us all day and night, or we stop playing and stop being bled dry for basic features.
Because at this point, the game is becoming Pay to Play.
It's not just remote players being punished, local players especially new players rely on remotes to help so this punishes them too

Until they lift the XL type matching requirement for raids there will never be hype around megas. People use Megas to climb the candy XL mountain, not to win raids…

So in person is good, remote bad for the link things. Normally I’d not care but if you need 8+ that sucks I can duo all the legends etc w my partner to keep it low Econ and not rely on randoms who suck

I dont know, Im a rural player but have actually never been a fan of the remote raids. I think there should be downsides to lay on your couch and spam raid. Also, no one is forcing anyone to remote raid these megas. Its mainly whales that max out there daily remote raids that complain about these things and use rural players as an excuse. If you can get link charges free in any capacity, all and all this will be a win.
Anyone else expecting them to eventually make a level 5 and make there a permanent increase to the chances of getting the candies. It would make sense for how many xl candies we will eventually need for pokemon to reach level 100
