PSA acquired BGS through its parent company, Collectors, further consolidating the grading market. Certified Guaranty Company remains a solid third option, and TAG Grading is gaining traction, particularly for its slab design.
For those who’ve done a crossover, did you submit the card in the original slab or crack it and send it raw?
I have a vintage Shining “Gary” graded BGS 9.5 and am considering sending it to PSA for a potential 10. TAG is also on my radar, though I’m less familiar with its grading standards and resale strength.
