Shadow Shiny Magikarp.. Purify or Keep Shadow?

I just got this shadow shiny magikarp that would be a shundo if purified. My questions is whether or not to purify it and have a shundo gyrados. Is shadow gyrados good? I only pvp in great league fwiw.
