The following are the recommended Five-Star legendary raid tips.

  • Know the Pokémon you want to battle.
  • Avoid using Pokémon that are weak to these Mega Pokémon.
  • Raid with enough Trainers. The minimum number of Trainers needed is 8.
  • Use proper counters and their best movesets. Not just any high CP Pokémon, but the best counters with a high CP.
  • If you can, take advantage of weather boosts. Do raids during the weather conditions that boost many of the recommended counters you have in your battle party.
  • Use proper items when catching after winning a raid battle. Make sure you use Golden Razz Berry and aim for Excellent Throws when catching. If shiny, use (Silver) Pinap Berry instead to get more Candy.
