my game glitched out and the screen went completely black, so i was throwing balls blind. im actually devastated

someone invited me to a yveltal raid and i was so excited because ive really been wanting to get one, but my game does this thing sometimes for some reason where the screen completely glitches out on an encounter and goes black. the game itself is still working and i can interact and throw balls and whatnot, but i can't see anything. usually i restart the app when this happens, but i didn't think id be able to go back to the encounter since this was a remote raid. im genuinely so devastated right now. im sending a support ticket but i don't have much hope for decent compensation
