Shadow Lugias and Ho-oh were caught today and should therefore have a background. I saw the animation after catching them which indicates they will have a background. Pokemon from yesterday do have background.

yeah, the rate is abysmal, did 15 raids today, got 1 background. pretty much the same yesterday.

Ok so I’m not the only one. Last night I was getting a background from nearly every raid and later in the morning I stopped getting them. I haven’t received one all day so far. Hopefully they fix this soon. We must report

Do you mean you got none, or just that there is no icon indicating the background ?
For the latter, I got 2 pokemons with special backgrounds, and nothing is showing either when I go through my pokemon list.
