For the first time since playing my first Pokémon game, I've finally decided to commit to a "forever save file", planning on never deleting the save data. And of course it had to be in Platinum version, which holds the most value to me.
I've taken my sweet time slowing down the gameplay (hence the playtime) and experiencing pretty much all aspects of content available before the post-game (and even before starting the save file), such as:
-Using EonTimer and PokéFinder to start my adventure on my birthday with the Trainer ID of 00001.
-Seeing all available Pokémon in the Sinnoh dex, learning in the process, that the Poké Radar is available before post-game
-Completed a Sinnoh living dex (Except for Legendaries due to shiny hunting them later)
-Collecting and planting Berries daily
-Catching a Honey Tree Munchlax
-Experiencing the Underground content and getting my first Trainer Star before the 3rd gym
-Collecting all overworld items including hidden items as well as wild held items (Light Ball, Lucky egg, etc.)
-Collecting contest accessories – Although I have a long way to go before I've got them all
-Collecting Ribbons for my main team, including fully EV-training my main team before beating the League to obtain the Effort Ribbon
-Beaten every trainer before post-game
-Spoken to every NPC
-Catching all Unown and completing the Maniac Tunnel
-Catching over 150 Abra to be able to Synchronize anything – Yet to find Bold, Gentle and Lonely
-Doing dailies: Berry farming & Berry-givers, Honey Trees, Lottery Corner, News Paper, Massage Girl, Julia's Ribbons, Lvl Item House, Sunyshore Market Seals & Shard-giver
-Hunted all Poké Radar encounters available before post-game
-Farming a bunch of money and buying tons of items to never run out
I think that's about it. At least what's worth mentioning!
It's been a fantastic journey thus far, and for once, I don't feel even a little burnt out going into the post-game. Now I'm looking forward to finishing a National living dex, obtaining the remaining Trainer Stars and of course playing LeafGreen in a few days time. Great day y'all!
Also, Valiance the Milotic was not shiny hunted, but caught on another save file with the Cute Charm Glitch.
