i dropped by my local card shop and grabbed a bundle of journey together as a bit of a treat to myself. i’ve been busy with school + work and have had no time to myself lately. with reading week around the corner, i figured i’d just drop in and grab something just for the fun of it.
i used to play pokemon when i was a kid, but never really followed the releases and such. i recently picked it up because some college friends play casually and i’m interested in starting again.
this is my first time buying packs instead of just cute cards i find at shops or online. i’m not an avid collector or anything, but it feels nice to get something and know that i got my money’s worth, had fun ripping packs, and now have some fun cards to admire and play.
