Water starter design is so topnotch and unique. Fire starter is so cuuuuuuute! Fire starter, I keep looking at the body I see a different face Xd

These are actually some of the most perfect starter design I’ve seen. They are not at all in the old art style but still give that nostalgic feeling. They all are extremely cute and likeable, in their own unique way. Normally, each generation has starters that people immediately gravitate too. This reminds me of the Hoenn region a bit where I would be happy choosing any starter but also struggle on which one to choose first.
I wanna grab Pyribbit but Bubblusk seems like it would surprise me in a good way upon evolution. Slowth seems like he’s also gonna go all Rilaboom in the final evo.

Pyribbit? After kirby triple deluxe and super kirby clash that name brings only fear and rage to me. In triple deluxe, it’s an annoying boss that hides in the background for 75% of the fight so you can’t damage it. In super kirby clash they make no changes to the boss, but now you’re under a timer.

I want them all! This is such a hard chooooice! The lava frog is super cute, but so is the sloth and what I’m guessing is a mollusk?
I really like these designs. It got a unique art direction and shape while still looking like Pokemon.

Pyribbit is cute but it gave me flashbacks to how annoying the Pyribbit fight in
Kirby triple deluxe is
10/10 as long as they stay on the ground as reasonably as possible for their inspirations as they evolve. So sick of furrymon. And with the obvious magma inspiration for pyribbit, I’d be looking forward to not having a fourth fire/fighting starter!
