Even though some Nintendo games were getting translation starting on Switch (like Mario Wonder for example) Pokémon never got an official Portuguese translation and after 30 years we can finally have one, the brazilian community asked for years and years without response so we always felt ignored. The converted prices (dollar to reais) is already harsh for us, but not even having the game in our language was really a dealbreaker. This is really big because it allows kids (you know, the focused demographic of the franchise) of my country to actually understand what the heck is going on without relying on having a translator on the side to help them all the time.
