Seen that most of us have wasted money going up against Mega Dragonite because people do not know how to use their megas to remove the shields. So Mega Mewtwo is going to be an extreme problem if it has more Shields than Dragonite

Super mega raids is seriously the dumbest thing ever. I did my one dragonite raid that's enough for me.

I got two shiny background dragonites in me each day of the kalos tour
I did 39 raids 1 shiny with the background and 13 with the background 😔
I tot they said the iv and shiny rate of the super mega raid would be high..i raid so many dragonite and got 0 shiny..
Obviously I will quit in the last 10 seconds if I see less than 8 people have a mega evolution, im not dumb
It was great. We had a lobby of 10, and unbeknownst to us, there was ONE rando, who didn’t bring a mega. We lost, and when we relobbied, they joined AGAIN WITHOUT A MEGA
i thought it took 8 Megas for the others and 10 Megas for Dragonite at random, because i had few times when i had my mega in my party at the last slot automatically.
Yet when the shield busting time occurred, i was not switched over to my mega automatically.
this only happened on the lobbies with 15 or more megas in the group.
we did few battles with 10 megas for the other two and like 12 megas for Dragonite, but all those times i was automatically switched over to my mega evolved pokemon.
so it is not like i was ever just attacking with my non mega while our group was losing like this video here almost seemed to be.

I will admit. I am a casual player, I live in a somewhat rural area so I only do remote raids. I did not know about needing a mega charged move and for 3 out of 10 raids I wasn't even mega evolved. In one raid we only had 10 players and we couldn't complete it because it had 4 shield and we couldn't break any of the 4, but i did not know about this or I would have brought in the 2 pokemon that the game give you for free Beedrill or Pidgeot which were the only 2 i had at first, and I also did not see anything in-game about this, no tutorial, someone said in the comments that there is but players skip it, I honestly didn't see a thing and I am not one to skip tutorials, i rarly do. Can some one point me to where i can find more about this. ( obviously I now know, but i want all the info) and by the way, I don't subscribe to this youtuber, this is his first video I see and it was because it popped up in my recommended.

I was not crazy about the event at all. Absolutely need to make people have a mega to even join, I wasted a lot of money. NOT TO MENTION THE AUTOMATIC CLICKING TO SPEND 750 COINS OR WHATEVER WHEN I DIDNT HAVE THE REMOTE PASS AND LINK CHARGES. ITS HABIT AND ON ME BUT I ENDED UP DOING IT TWICE.
I did 80+ original raids and only got one shiny. I did 80+ shadwo lugia/Hooh raids and none of my high IV ones is either shiny or with background. Really sucks with such a bad luck.
