it has been many years since I first played Fire Red & Leaf Green, so I don't remember if this was in the original games or not. I bought the Switch 2 versions on the 27th, but it's been a busy past couple of days with Go Tour Kalos.
so I just now opened up Leaf Green, I chose the girl. and the Rival popped up, Red, Ash, Kene, Geki.
Red is obviously the counterpart, and was expected. Ash was a play on the Anime, but I would have thought Gary. but it does sound familiar.
the unexpected part was Kene and Geki, now Geki I think means Brat in Japanese, but IDK what Kene means. does anyone else remember that? the four names bit…
