My daughter experienced Helioptile "com day" on the ferry the other day, in Norway.
Other issues is when you spin stops or gyms, and the only thing happening is the message "try again later" even if you spin and spin and spin.
I also had extremely few spawns the weekend of road to Kalos, and disturbingly low shiny rate 🥴
The Arabs who bought Pokémon GO are only interested in profit. If this game survives another 5 years, it’ll be a miracle if things stay this way

If you go from Sweden to Åland Island there is places on the water that spawns only helioptile aswell

With the new update there is a tonne of bugs especially with the battle league. It’s almost unplayable. And why are Pokémon spawns literally all on top of each other now?
The game is the buggiest it has ever been, even more than at launch.
Gyms Under Construction, Remote Trade Has Expired Popup, Route map bugging out, Removing the ability to default the Pokemon's Name and use special symbols, Helioptiles non-stop to name a few.
The lag has been miserable and I have to force close the app so much now. Whatever they did these past few months broke a ton of stuff.

I see helioptile at a spot along Lake Superior. There’s a path along the lake walk and I just thought it was a nest or something.
I feel for those players. But Heliolisk is also my favorite pokemon and their spawns have been rough in my area so I'm a little jealous ngl
actually, caught 500+, and recieved my first mewtwo from the pass.. admittedly paid 10+ steps and live in Chicago, and very active so idk
I have the issue that NO stops in my 12 mile radius town have any showcases since the new season started.

Niantic-scopely: Ok, then give them another go pass and another go pass, and another go pass with one premium raid and one incubator with 30.000 exp.
My impression is that Niantic/Scopely has been coming up with new stuff (which causes new bugs) and leaving fixing existing or new bugs. The cause is the corporate types are only interested in goosing play, getting more players, spending more money, raising prices of shop items, etc. The Helioptile Infestation is just one of many, many bugs. I have to restart the app several times a day because gyms suddenly stop working or the screen is blown out and no Pogo images, just gray crud. Routes which had been absolute junk when they were introduced got fixed up and now they are reverting to buggy junk. The devs management really ought to listen to the user community. When users contact you, listen. When Brandon complains, LISTEN!!!
It seems like there's just one problem after another happening we have this all going on for months and ever since the new season started has had quite a bit of power spots not working properly so only certain ones actually allow you to get particles and do max battles why do they keep having these issues they really do gotta fix all this
No way!! I took a ferry ride and across the water last year and every single spawn on the ride was a Heliopotile!
Hey @BrandonTan91, looks like you did it. At around 0115 Gulf time (2115 UTC), the helioptile numbers dropped to a level I usually only see in uninfested areas. The timing is odd and the numbers are lower than you'd expect from an event, so I am cautiously optimistic that this might actually have been fixed….

I live between two rivers and there's one spot near a boat dock on the river that I've noticed is a helioptile hot spot. The game must think that's a coast. Fortunately it's just a quarter mile square for me, but I empathize with anyone who experiences it!

All this Monty I sent many many msg true the game help and recibe a bot answer! It was awfull playing just gettng helioptiles! I was just going to stop playing the game ! I hope this is solve and dont came back more helioptiles after the aniversary event ends
1 more thing..the name that have symbols right click are all now missing the right ticks..i used to use the right ticks on my shadow mons that already had frustration removed..dem..what happened..now i dunno which one have frustration or not in while choosing in battle league

This is also a problem in Australia. My small town spawns helioptile everywhere. At first I thought it was just a nest but it has been the same now for months since I moved here

Where I live, I have decent spawns, but they're literally all Helioptile. I have to walk 1km away before I start getting any other kind of spawns. Has been like this for the last year or so
I have a lot in my area this game bs they care about money what happen to Pokemon center they said would be out in 2023/2024
I ran into this exact issue in Finland (Pori, Uniluoto) on Saturday Feb 28, 2026 around 19:30–20:00 local time during the Kalos Tour evening.
At first I thought it was some kind of surprise Spotlight Hour, because the spawns were extremely concentrated, but after reporting it to a friend we realized it was most likely the same local spawn bug shown in this video.
I don’t live in that area, so I’m not sure if this is a recurring issue there or just a one-time glitch, but the behavior looked identical.
I get the idea behind biomes, but in practice it just makes it harder to catch a variety of things outside of specific events, and even during events like right now almost no kanto legendary birds are spawning because all the common biomes are zapdos only, and even those are too rare for most players to even get a chance at
