I don't know if this is related to the event but today during a single 15 minute daily incense I found a falarian moltres and zapdos.
Hopefully I can get galar birds only saw moltres on my daily I haven’t seen them. In months

The legendary Pokémon spawns off incense are wack they all flee just like the glarian birds I've only caught one out of 9 legendary spawns off 1 hour incense

Caught a shiny female salandit after about 36 checks
It’s classic "Niantic PR." They use technically true but extremely misleading language to get everyone hyped and out in the streets.
By saying "almost all Pokémon can be encountered," they get to include the big guys in the marketing, even if the actual spawn rate is so low (like 0.0001%) that 99% of players will never see one. It's basically a lottery where the jackpot is a wild Groudon that will probably run away anyway.
The "Niantic Trap" Today
Technically True: A wild Rayquaza might exist somewhere.
The Reality: You'll likely see 500 starters and 200 Pidgeys before you see anything close to a legendary.
The Goal: They want you to burn through your Incense and Lures hunting for "ghosts" so that when you give up, you're already at a Gym and tempted to buy Raid Passes.
Them switching up the shiny rates in return to let eveything have a chance is honestly an L.
