I haven’t bought Pokémon cards since I was a kid, but my wife’s birthday is coming up soon and she loves Wooloo, so I figured I’d drop into a local shop to find a single for her. I also asked the people there about a full-art Meowth (my personal favorite) and they told me it was part of the Phantasmal Flames series.
So I figured I’d test my luck and bought three booster packs just for the nostalgia hit but pulled this instead. The people at the shop lost their minds and showed me how much that card was worth because they probably saw my face and realized I had no idea what I’d just pulled.
Still looking for Meowth, but at least I got the Wooloo for the wife. I’ll probably quit while I’m ahead haha
