Haven’t been this enamoured with all three starters in a long while, so I drew/painted this to celebrate the new trailer 🙂
Watercolour pencils, ink, and a bit of white acrylic on A3. I tried a little to emulate Sugimori’s overexposed watercolour style. However, I shot myself in the foot by using paper that was way too thin (was away from home and had nothing better) so I couldn’t get it to look quite how I wanted without turning everything into a soggy mess.
Am leaning towards Pombon at this stage, but will reserve judgement until we find out how ugly the final evolutions are…
