Picked up my first ACE graded card and honestly I’m really impressed with the slab quality compared to the PSA ones I have.
It’s a 2008 Temple of Anger 1st Edition Luxray holo (JPN) ACE 10 Gem Mint.
This has always been one of my favourite Luxray cards. I actually already have it raw in English, but PSA 10 prices for that version are a bit out of my range, so this felt like a cool way to get a high-grade version for the collection.
A couple questions for people who collect ACE slabs:
1. Is this the older ACE slab design or the newer one? I’ve only ever owned PSA before so I’m not sure.
2. I’m trying to add it to my Collector app collection, but I can’t seem to get a value or listing for it. Has anyone figured out how to add cards that don’t appear in the database yet?
Overall though I have to say ACE slabs feel really premium compared to PSA. The label and case look much nicer in person.
