Initial Post here: Energy Resolve Nerf on Meta Raid Attackers
The energy resolve nerf is still active in the game; however we finally have footage demonstrating a method to overcome the DPS nerf. Courtesy to DarKnight for offering his video proof. Granted the method is streneuous and annoying for 99% of players. For the sake of science however, this does confirm the nerf is not a bug. The system is performing as intended; although the intentions are definitely an oversight.
How to overcome the nerf:
Players must be tick perfect.
On the last 0.5s fast move, before using a 100 nrg charge move, avoid spam tapping during its animation duration. The player needs to wait the full 0.5s and then immediately tap the charge move button the moment it's available.
Why? Spam tapping automatically queues another fast move which unfortunately takes priority over the desired charge move input during the next turn. This is similar to how dodging during an animation will queue a dodge command the next available turn. In an earlier comment on the last post I assumed this was impossible to do; I'm wrong and even in some of my previous solo raid videos I've managed to pull it off. Pulling this maneuver off basically requires Tick Perfect gameplay in that moment.
Video Evidence & Walk through:
Here's the video proof: Zacian's Tick Perfect Behemoth Blade
VOD Move Sequence: (What will happen if you adjust)
31.0s (t0): Metal Claw spam tap 90/100
30.5s (t1): Metal Claw spam tap 95/100
30.0s (t2): Metal Claw single tap 100/100
… (NO TAPS DONE HERE)
29.5s (t3): Behemoth Blade 0/100
Sample of failed move sequence (What will happen to most players)
31.0s (t0): Metal Claw spam tap 90/100
30.5s (t1): Metal Claw spam tap 95/100
30.0s (t2): Metal Claw spam tap 100/100
29.5s (t3): Extra Metal claw buffered 105/100 -> 100/100.
29.0s (t4): Behemoth Blade 0/100
If you were sucessful, the charge move button would appear and almost instantly disappear. If you were unsuccessful, the button would linger for a bit before the charge move command is executed.

Is it worth it?
For most players it's really not worth the extra intensity. For extreme soloers where raid can live or die by 1-2s, expect a new learning curve of gameplay. Hope this sheds some light on how the energy resolve is functioning in the game.
