This might sound a bit crazy but I have a prediction for this year. Do you remember that we are going to get a Pikachu spotlight hour on APRIL 1st? I think it's going to be a mimicu spotlight hour.
For the 10yr pogo and 30yr of pokemon they should bring back 8bit for April fools and maybe gimmighoul coins pop up when u spin a stop randomly

I have been waiting for shiny Mew to come back. Didn't play during the first (other?) time(s) and that is the #1 thing I hope to get out of GO.
A featured that should've stayed
Didn't they already have a spotlight hour scheduled for April1st? I don't think they'll do much more sadly 🙁
They stopped with the 8-bit sprites in the last few games, so they'll have to make these sprites for the new Pokémon, which is not something Niantic does. They only use the existing assets from the main games.
what about all out April event, as we are in memories theme.
I think Gen 5 was the last sprite game, unless TPC want to “borrow” some sprite artworks

Our choice of loading screen would be cool. We’ve had some real bangers that we hated to see go. Bring back the 8-bit sprites and those legacy avatars too ✌️
I would legitimately pay irl money if they let us use the 8-bit sprites as just for Pokedex Overview skin
Are those 8-bit sprites taken from somewhere or are they unique? If the latter that's incredible.
