When I saw the trailer, something immediately felt familiar. I kept thinking: Where have I heard that before? Then it clicked. Back in 1998, in Mewtwo Strikes Back, there was that moment about the winds and the waves. I remember hearing it as a kid.
I immediately called my brother, whom I hadn’t spoken to in months, and he instantly knew what I was getting at. We talked for over an hour. Thanks to Pokémon (again!), we’re back in contact again.
It would honestly be wild if the developers are drawing inspiration for the story from that movie.
What do you guys think, is this just a coincidence or the story/setup for our new adventure?
