I made this in probably 10 minutes just to showcase what I'm talking about, but basically, you can use any photo editing program to hue shift any color to any other color, and it's incredibly easy.
Would you still enjoy shinies if their colors weren't hand-picked and were instead applied via a shader or similar program?
Follow-up question: if there were multiple shinies per Pokémon and the shiny drop chance was increased, would that cheapen getting a shiny in your opinion?
