Antipate is one of the early regional bugs, a Bug type ant with good attacking power. Males evolve into Anticirate, becoming a Bug/Dark powerhouse with a big attack stat and access to intimidate. Females instead evolve into Ginerant, a Bug/Ground type with great bulk and Queen Majesty to shut down priority moves.
Moving to the next set the cute Turabega is a Grass type plant full of potential that evolves based on the time of day. Its abilities Chlorophyll and Harvest link its three evolutions. Day time evolution yields Beetum, a physically oriented Grass/Fighting type. Morning evolutions yield the specially oriented Aubergenie with the Grass/Fairy typing. Finally a night time evolution results in the fast and sneaky Grass/Ground Parsneak.
