I've been playing Pokémon for 30 years! And even so, I've only found two shinies to this day! Curiously, both in the same adventure:
On the route above Cherrygrove City, at the beginning of the adventure and still without any Poké Balls available, I found a shiny Weedle! It was like a stab in the heart.
Days later, while conquering the Kanto region, a shiny Psyduck appeared, and man… I love that little blue duck!
This Pokémon Crystal adventure was done on an emulator, so I could never legally transfer them to Pokémon Home…
Btw, when I was completing the Living Dex in 2014 in Generation 6, while hatching eggs, I also got a shiny Ronggenrola!
