Which Pokémon fits more the saint patricks day?

I arrived in Dublin a month ago, and with all the changes, movings, classes and travel I’m finished adapting only now. This post is mainly because I’ve been doing a small series of Pokémon illustrations based on suggestions people gave me, and with Saint Patrick’s Day coming up and everything here in Ireland slowly turning green again, I started wondering something kind of questions while drawing: which Pokémon actually fits the St. Patrick’s Day vibe the most? ☘️✨

At first I thought the answer would be obvious as a plant Pokémon and call it a day. But man I’d Sableye could easily be hoarding a pot of gold somewhere for example.

Should it be a grass-type because of the whole nature / green Ireland vibe?

Is it something mischievous that gives off leprechaun or folklore energy?

Maybe something connected to luck, gold, forests, or fae creatures?

Or maybe it’s just a Pokémon that feels chaotic enough that you could imagine it showing up in the middle of a parade or hanging around a pub during the celebrations. I’m curious about the celebrations here.

I’ve been sketching these pieces like little tarot/card-style in my book and experimenting with some botanical elements and decorative borders around them.

So far I’ve played around with Pokémon like Bulbasaur, Leafeon, and Celebi, mostly because they have that strong nature/forest vibe. But I feel like there are probably other interestings or unexpected picks that would fit the theme too.

I’m attaching a page from my sketchbook so you can see the kind of thing I’ve been working on.

If you had to choose one Pokémon that represents St. Patrick’s Day the best, which one would it be and why?

It can be the obvious choice, a deep lore pick, or something completely random. The weirder the better. I might end up turning some of the suggestions into new illustrations.
