Let’s Go Pikachu was actually my first Switch game ever in 2019. Loved the graphics, atmosphere and music. Felt like a faithful recreation of the kanto game and more. BUT what bogged it down was the fact they over simplified the game to strictly catching for random encounters. Battles would only take place when facing gym leaders, etc. I know this sounds silly but instead of finishing it before reaching Brock, I sold it away after less than 2 weeks.
But now that I’m able to play the OG games on switch, which I’m having a TOTAL BLAST with what Let Go literally let go of, I feel like I can now give this game a shot again.
