Hello everyone! New here, actually new to Fakemon creating in general, this is my first ever so, please bare with me 🥲
So, I was trying to make a cute little baby like Mammal Fakemon, and PLEASE know this is a rough sketch, a very very rough sketch so yeah the symmetry and proportions are off.
But, anyways, the concept was that it was a Pokémon who just YEARNS, it yearns deeply for its trainer and wishes for its unconditional affection and attention and such. And yet, you can never tell how deep it's longing for love goes because of its eyes. So unreadable. I decided to use Espurr as a base however thought "Hey, I could probably change it up so it barely resembles Espurr!"
And…I'm not sure I did. Maybe it's just the pose and given a different one it'd look vastly different but, I'm conflicted. What do you all think? Is it different enough design wise and it's just the pose that's killing it? And even if different enough, what criticisms may you have?
Fairy/Ghost btw.
