Guzzlord and Garbodor are both based on the Gumberoo, is it possible that Guzzlord is an alternate universe variant of Garbodor?

TL;DR on the Gumberoo stuff: Physical descriptions of the Gumberoo match up with Garbodor and Guzzlord both, as well as descriptions of its behavior and the relationship with the Timberdoodle being mirrored in the relationship Garbodor has with Alolan Muk. If both Garbodor and Guzzlord share this inspiration, is it possible that they share an in-universe origin as well?
