While digging through the ruins of Saffron (or was it Celedon?) I found the lab where scientists were trying to find a solution to the inevitable Climate Apocalypse, and I saw that they were using the Porygon evolution line for their intended purposes. Porygon 2 is capable of maneuvering in Space, allowing humanity an escape route via the Cosmos.
What I love is that what saved humanity was a Pokemon as obscure and shunned by the Pokemon company for the past 29 years. A Pokemon that was purged from appearing in all media, but the games, saved Humanity. The Pokemon we betrayed was our Ultimate Saviour. Porygon Did Nothing Wrong
