These tools are designed to help players automatically catch Pokémon and spin PokéStops, making it easier to grind stardust, XP, and even shiny Pokémon without constantly being on your phone.
Many top Pokémon GO players use auto catchers every single day to maximise efficiency and progress faster. Personally, a huge portion of my shiny Pokémon and hundos have been caught using an auto catcher, simply because it creates opportunities you would otherwise miss while not actively playing.
That said, the debate is still very real — some players believe using an auto catcher takes away from the core gameplay experience, while others see it as an essential tool for grinding and long-term progression.

It's great for house grind, but that's it for walking around you mybe don't want to use it, or when using daily incense not at all, and mybe it's good for when you are raiding

I have one to its just a Pokeball that's 50 dollars and you also need Bluetooth on and you just press when it's green or yellow

If you play just for the Dex entry's then yes. Its too easy. But I use it for shinys. Anything that I dont have I actually search for.
