Backstory, when I was like 14 after this game first came out, I decided to shiny hunt origin form Giratina, somehow got it within probably 500 SRs. Lost interest around 16, traded that copy in at GameStop because I was impulsive and didn’t think I’d regain interest. Flash forward to today, have bought back all the games I used to have and decided to get this thing again.
55 encounters! Fifty five!
I gasped, internally exploded. And it froze. It froze! I had to suppress my urge to snap this ds into two pieces. Everything crashed down.
I’m not really sure why it froze. It’s a legit copy of the game. I don’t care for action replay- fake shinies are not valuable to me. My only hypothesis is that I bumped the gba cartridge of leaf green that honestly I should have taken out before I hunted. The only time DS games have frozen on me it was from bumping the GBA cartridge.
All that to say, I am very disappointed, but I have started over and so far I am 200 SRs in to encountering my now 3rd shiny origin form Giratina at full odds.
Wish me luck. Maybe I deserved this. 😭
