Old Skill Gear farming video (DO NOT FOLLOWING IT! IT IS OUT OF DATE AND JUST A DEMONSTRATION VIDEO OF THE OLLD SYSTEM!):
UPDATE 3/28/26: They changed Skill Gear in two ways. First, the Additional Effect that you lock will always float to the top slot. This changes even affects all Additional Effects you locked in the past. The second change is that new Additional Effects that are rerolled in a Gear that has an Additional Effect locked will always go past the locked Additional Effect. Bigger picture, you will always get full value from a silver feather, when in the past, you would only get full value from a silver feather if you locked the Additional Effect on the third slot. All in all, Skill Gear is easier to farm, and pervious Skill Gear that have Additionl Effects locked are buffed.
This is a huge change and they made Skill Gear easier to understand and significantly easier to farm. I’d like to think they made it in response to the Skill Gear video I made recently where in the video I literally messed up and talked about some challenges with farming for Skill Gear. I wasn’t expecting changes to Skill Gear after all this time, but I’m happy it has changed.
