(Always bet on grass dodo starter evolution) Art by me. When coming up with ideas for a Browt evolution line, I had the idea of basing it off of Jack and the beanstalk. Fienstalk is inspired by the fictional bird axebeaks, which is a reference to Jack cutting down the beanstalk with an axe. Obviously, the eyebrows are beanstalks and the legs are sort of as well, the tail is supposed to look like the opening of a money bag, like the one that Jack stole, and obviously the wings are supposed to be harps, like the magic harp in the story. Browt was already yellow, so that could already be a callback to the hen that lays golden eggs. I thought about making the feather tuft on the head into the shape of castle towers to reference the giant's castle, especially since the lumps towards the bottom of browt kinda make him look "cloudy", but couldn't imagine it in a way that didn't look clunky, so I ended up just making them look like bean pods. They kinda look like a crown, so I guess it still works. Finally, the shiny is inspired by the ugly duckling, which I thought made sense for obvious reasons. (Oh, I also gave it the dark typing because I believe gequa will evolve into a psychic type and pombon will evolve into a fighting type)
