I know I'm not the only one to think cassowary for Browt. Being specifically called the Bean Chick Pokemon makes it seem like a safe bet that it will get tall, and cassowaries are arguably the coolest living ratite. Eviscerating talons did seem a little intense for a starter, so I made it punch instead. (Can you punch with a foot?)
