I’m level 74 and have been working on platinum medals for the 50 you need for level 80. I have all “catch blank type” medals platinum. Just need advice on what I should work on next and how to go about it. In the picture is what all I have left. At 38 platinum medals currently so need 12 more for all 50.

Gym defender and double up by giving them sumbiches berries too
Battle leagues – do them with a friend and tank for each other. I did 50 in one sitting tonight.
The easiest ones are gonna be stuff you can do every day while playing the game.
-Feed berries to mons in gyms (100 berries every 30min) and put as many mons in gyms as you can
-Battle every rocket grunt and purify every shadow pokemon you get (2 medals)
-Send and open as many gifts as you can for best friends, plus pin every postcard for vivillon collector
-Do your snapshot encounter every day, plus the extra ones on community days & during events. (You’re guaranteed one a day, but if you don’t get it you have to back out and go back in to play with your buddy which is annoying)
You should practice being able to walk while doing a handstand and playing with your feet
Have you done every type? You can battle against the leaderts, you will be increasing the train medal and the kind of battle you are doing: great, ultra or master.
Vivillion is an easy one if you can find friends in your missing regions.
Battle leagues, and ace trainer are insanely easy to do just a bit tedious. Just this past week I did both ace trainer and great league platinums, I started at 100/1000 for great league and 10/2000 for ace trainer.
Kind of cheating but if you have a second phone or iPad you can actually set up a touch assist feature to where it does it for you and it’ll keep repeating until you say stop. And the same touch assist for ace trainer. I would have it running while I was working or even gaming.
vivillon medal is very easy if you managed to find friends who send post cards from the region you want
Taking over gyms and feeding will give three medals, battling grunts and purifying will give two, best friends is an easy one, getting best buddies will progress several medals (ace trainer, photobomb and routes), then you can do PvP.
Idol medal (20 bf) is ezpz.
Trade 2500 pokemon also if you have anyone to trade with. 100 per day is the limit.
Surprise encounters on special events, you can have 5 in a row per day.
