Do you think Pokemon size will eventually matter in turn-based traditional combat?

Currently playing ZA, and I’ve been collecting both the Alpha and XS versions of shiny Pokemon. Pokemon size affects the size of the AOE of some moves in ZA (like Earthquake), but do you think there will come a time wherein size will also be a factor in the traditional battle system? Would you want it to go beyond cosmetics?

And have you also been collecting Pokemon of varying sizes, especially the largest and smallest ones?
