Fakemon

Kind of my first attempt at a fakemon design



I was pondering Spheal one time, as one does, and I wanted to see what it would look like if it went more into the sphere aspect of it.

Originally I wanted to go with flat circle -> wheel -> sphere. I don’t exactly remember how I went from that to balloon -> beach ball -> clown but her we are.

Not sure what type it would be, or if it’s really any good. I think Pinnicle is too much of a big jump in design, but let me know how it looks!

    Phlate is so skrunkly, I love them. My precious child who has contracted every disease.

    Was there a specific sea creature that inspired them? They vaguely remind me of something, but I can’t quite place it.

    Oh I LOVE it! I imagine Phlate actually fills with air when attacking and then farting around wildly

    Not sure how I feel about it being a Spheal variant since the rest of it is so different. It could definitely be its own mon. Maybe Sealoon/Sealloon (seal/sea lion + balloon)?

    As for typing, Phlate should be mono Fairy, then the middle and final forms should be Fairy/Flying to compliment their balloon aesthetic. They should be Flying even if they don’t technically fly and just float a little. That way also get STAB from the move Bounce, which they obviously need to learn.

    I love the designs these are prob in my top 20 (thats lucky I have seen hundreds of designs)

    I just recommend change the name Spheal (unless it is like a regional form) because well Spheal is already a Pokémon. Other then that all of these designs I want to hug
