Discolouration or Altered? Dark spots on Japanese back cards

Hope to hear some opinions .

This is a 2014 Japanese card and the seller has mentioned that it has been stored for many years . Just want to check, there seems to be slightly dark spots on the right of the card. May I check if it’s just discolouration of Japanese pokemon cards and not whitening coloring ?
