Considering its category is the Accident Pokémon, Au-oh is rather accident prone and clumsy. To add to that, its name is a play on the phrase "Uh oh!"
also, if this were a real Pokémon in an episode of the anime, I could totally picture it sounding like it accidentally made a mess.
Au-oh is about 1/3 (maybe 1/4) the size of Audino.
