I'm tired of people acting like it's bad.
is changing your tera type a tedious and long process? Yes. is it visually less appealing than mega evolution? Absolutely
The reason I find it the best and it beats out the other 3 by a hole lot is the creativity. a super effective attack becomes a immunity or resisted. they can be used alongside your item giving you thousands of options and doing what mega evolution should have done
make pokemon who were close to being good relevant
like tera normal dragonite extreme speed or tera flying tera blast
gargancle who has the curse of pure rock typing gets to be water and kingambit who faints to a toddlers punch gets to be tera flying
what I'm trying to say I guess is this amount of change and a gimmick testing everyone's creativity feels less restricting than megas where we usually have some broken ones who define the hole game.
there are so many strategies I didn't name because there endless because it really makes you think
