As a dude, I missed when our male characters looked cool.
It’s really only the dlcs now that we finally get drip that should have just been our base outfits imo.

Someone pointed it out just before the Winds/Waves reveal, but this really shows how often the male protagonists have blue and/or red as a main color compared to the female protagonists. The Winds/Waves boy is gonna be the first one since Ethan to have yellow as a main color (okay, it’s more of a mustard than yellow, but still)!

I played gen1-5 and the females are way cooler in every game for sure😄. Especially the main model you run around with, flailing the arms and rocking some solid hats 🤩.
I guess i mostly play FR/LG and ash/red model is just kinda boring or something

I honestly think the player avatars for both genders have been amazing each and every release, no notes. It’s shocking that we haven’t experienced any fall off on either side yet.

imo it feels like earlier protagonists in general just have more impact and memorability because you can’t customize them
